"Fantastic game, very fun and makes you think tactically the whole time."
"Absolute masterpiece of a game, definitely worth the price. Clearly inspired by slay the spire but this absolutely does not demote it. It's just a downright excellent game, there's not much more to say about it."
"2024 update: They fixed the spen issue, mostly, 5 stars loved this game, but due to a life changing injury ,I use an spen to use my phone now and unfortunately this game does not work with the spen, when you have to select a card to drag into the discard box, the ui breaks. the card will move with the spen ,but it then dissapears under the discard box. it will not register the card as on top. long story short, definitely a 5 star game, but if you need to use the spen, you might be out of luck."
"I spent far too many hours on this. Fantastic game. Hands down most played mobile game, and my only mobile game too. Doing every quest and unlocking every character takes ages, which is a good thing. Always something to progress to get a new card or relic. Great variety of builds for different characters. Most importantly: NO ADS!!! I even bought paid characters and boosters, it's completely optional but I feel for this game it's completely worth it. If you get one mobile game, get this one."
"I expected less intrusive upselling. Got 50 gold after playing for 40 mins, next hero costs 8000."
"For a roguelike, it doesn't really do it for me. When I lose I don't think "oh, I lost, at least I got something to help me the next run", what I do think is "oh, I lost, guess I have to try again and hope I get further". The game comes off monotonously as there isn't much you can do to help make more progress the next run so you can unlock new characters. There is a handful of upgrades, but you can only use one at a time, you can also unlock new cards but those cards aren't necessarily better."
"Update 2024/11/13 - Still playing weelky, really really want google play beta support, still , 2023/07/04 - Its Ok a good time passer, would like it if it supported google play games beta"
"Grindy and rather boring."
"Good game"
"It's good buy it"
"I purchase all the content related and three years later I still continue playing as obsessed child. This game has gave me over +300 hours and I am still at 50% of all the content. 10/10 I would keep playing it for another lifetime."
"Takes way too long to unlock anything"
"10/10 But very very grindy, probably the grindiest card game I have ever played, even with the double boost. Which is like kind of ok for a mobile game. But maybe you could at least make it easier to get cosmetics."
"Epic Game Not Much To Say"
"Very rare to find such a good game that is ad free. Amazing rogue like experience and it is made in a way that every time you replay it feels like a new experience with new cards, reaching further etc. Other roguelikes feel repetitive but this feels refreshing idk how else to word it."
"Im not too satisfied playing this game most of all due to lack of personality on each character all of them don't have a unique card that make each character special, You basically playing the same exact characters"
"I like this theme over slay the spire's dark bizzard world, but the gameplay is a bit draggy on this one :( I am not sure but maybe having so many little transactions, or unlockables, make it tedious. I'd rather pay 15$ for a full game, with less unlockable that takes forever to achieve... I see there is 2nd version coming.. i hope it wont be this tedious.."
"well made game with tons of combos and replayability, been playing it for months now and still enjoy it, lots of potential synergies with new characters, i just wish you guys add a faster card shuffling setting to hasten some cheesy build, and card effects too, would definitely recommend this game."
"8000 coins for a new captain is absolute nonsense. This is a great game but I've now stopped playing as it got boring as there is nothing to play for."
"I REALLY wanted to like this game. As someone with hundreds of hours in deck building games i can see how good this game could be. Theres one major flaws and what seems like a massive oversight. You can't skip card rewards. So you can't really build a small deck which is esential in deck building games. I dont understand how such a simple basic qol feature didn't get added to this game. There's no reason not have it and it ruins the game. they charge real money for a few charecters as well..."
