However, not everything's smooth sailing: 😅 The movement and attack range calculations can be frustratingly rigid (diagonals count as more than 1 unit length), messing up initial plans and making maneuvers look, well, wonky. You'll get used to it, but it might still irk you.

"The general gameplay is good, just like common turn-based-battle games with city capture and unit production. However, I'm disappointed that movement and attack range are calculated rigidly on straight horizontal and vertical (diagonal is counted as greater than 1 unit length). It messes up the initial plans. Sure I'll get used to it, but the overall maneuvers will always be unpleasant to see, e.g. adjacent 1-range units won't be able to attack if they're diagonal to each other."
