One user's review transformed from grumpy to gleeful after tweaking the settings! It finally works perfectly after enabling autostart for background functions. ๐
Why go through the hassle of Tasker when Buzzkillโs got your back? Itโs like having a personal assistant for your notifications, minus the sweat. ๐ช
Many fell in love with the powerful yet easy UI that makes notifications way more effective. It's like turbocharging your notification experience! ๐
Set up complex notification rules in a matter of minutes? Yes, please! These users were up and running faster than you can say "notifications"! โฑ๏ธ
Some users hit a snag with specific apps like Telegram, where things went from smooth sailing to choppy waters after a couple of days. ๐ข
You might not need a PhD to use Buzzkill, but it does exactly what it's supposed to. Simple and to the point! โ๏ธ
One user wonders if Buzzkill can repeat notifications every minute for a max of 5 minutes. Hint hint, nudge nudge! ๐ฌ
An hourly batch notifications feature to reduce phone usage? Yes, it exists, and itโs awesome! ๐
The joy turned sour for one user after switching phones and encountering endless notification loops and failed commands. ๐ฑ๐๐ญ
The location settings are kind of misleading since they rely on Wi-Fi rather than actual location. Thatโs a bummer for those who skip work Wi-Fi. ๐๐ซ
From being a lifesaver for annoying email streams to eliminating constant reminders. One user found Buzzkill to be a godsend for $4 worth of peace! ๐ธ๐
Encounter an issue? The dev team seems super responsive and updates the app promptly to fix bugs. Customer service goals! ๐ ๏ธ๐
Danger alert! Be careful with rules for calls via apps like WhatsApp and Google Messages. Missing emergency notifications could be a real bummer. ๐จ๐ต
A clean UI and the ability to set custom vibration patterns make Buzzkill a "Noice app". Good job, team! ๐๐ถ
"Update my review to 5 star. Mine work after going to settings app then manage app and turn on buzzkill app in background autostart."
"Great app. Does many of the things you can do with Tasker without the work. Great timesaver!"
"Brilliant app that makes notifications so much more powerful with a very easy UI. I love it."
"Great for automatically dismissing System notifications that you normally can only snooze. Great app and super easy to learn and use. Had three rules setup in literally a couple minutes."
"I'm knocking down some stars. It worked great for 2 days for notification with telegram, but now it stopped working. Shows last time there was a notification where the time applied was 3 days ago, even though it's right. I'm trying to isolate the problem. Another thing that is missing is a possibility of adding two or more conditions for a single time. Example: if there's a word on a app then switch off do not disturb and turn on sound AND reply a message AND snooze the notification until etc."
"Does the job"
"Is there anyway to repeat a notification every minute for 5 minutes unless I dismiss it. Doesn't "remind me" rule repeats until you dismiss it. I was looking for it to repeat a max of 5 minutes."
"The only app I could find to batch notifications from any app every hour. Reduce the phone usage. Check emails every hour."
"Worked great till I switched to a new phone. Began to have this bug where it would repeatedly loop the same notification over and over making constant noise. A lot of commands I had set up also stopped working."
"Works great. My only gripe is that is has a setting for location, and asks for location permissions, but then the location option is based purely on which Wi-Fi network you're connected to. This does not work for me, since I don't connect to my work's Wi-Fi with my phone."
"Might be my favorite app I've ever installed. This is a must for everyone."
"Jolly good app, took me a little while to get my head around it but I'm glad I did."
"Love this."
"Great app. Please add an option to copy verification codes from Gmail notifications. So far it only copies from SMS inbox."
"Perfect"
"I've been searching for an app that gives this level of easy customization and control over notifications for years. Especially having custom TTS based on keywords."
"This might be the best $4 I have spent in PlayStore! I originally purchased Buzzkill to deal with the endless streams of coin messages from Temu & AliExpress that can't be squelched by turning off all notifications in the respective apps. I can now turn order notifications back on without being deluged by "special offers". It has also eliminated constant reminders from AppMgr III to move apps to the SD card & gotten rid of boilerplate messages such as "virus protection is working"."
"The app does quite well at manageing my notifications with the exeption of some very high level system notifications, has effectively let me actually care most of the time the notifivation sound goes off and the festures are so nice to keep around norifications I realy wamted to see. Not to mention the Dev took an small issue I had with the app and updated the app to fix it not long after I brought it up. Its simple and it works and I love it."
"Let me start with this app is only good for apps that don't receive calls if you use this with apps or set a rule with a contact and receive a call from that contact say via WhatsApp, google messages, etc BuzzKill will dismiss that notification and you will never receive it if you miss the phone call making this app very dangerous to use esp in emergency cases so please be aware of that when making rules and setting it with certain apps. ( Has been tested and verified)"
"Clean UI, does what it advertises. I like being able to set my own vibration patterns. Noice app."
BuzzKill helps you see the notifications you want to see and filter out the annoying ones you don't. ๐๐ Here's what it can do for you:
No ads, no trackers, and no data leaves your device. Seriously, it doesn't even have internet access (you can check!). ๐
Trigger actions on your Wear OS based on the notifications. For instance, you can show an alarm on your watch when you receive a certain notification. โ๐
Automate certain actions on your device, like tapping a button in a notification. You only need to enable it if you create a rule that requires it. ๐ค
Phone calls have limited support (no custom sounds or vibrations), but you can use the unsilence rule to ensure you donโt miss important calls based on specific criteria. ๐โ
BuzzKill, managing your notifications like a boss and keeping your sanity intact. ๐๐
