"As many have mentioned, the game is unsuitable for the touch screen. You waste your time trying to pinpoint. The game is set in grids. The menu is directional. A 4 way control on the left and yes/no on the right would have made it playable. Most of us are familiar with the original and can still manage somewhat. For new players, it'll be a bad purchase."

"Played this as a kid, and the mobile version pays true homage to it's roots!!!! Technically it plays flawless! I've read that the saves aren't transferable, but I recently upgraded phones from a S21 to a S24 and picked up right where I left off after the phone transfer! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this title!!!!"

But this game is meant to be played with a controller and the touchscreen controls are inaccurate and frustrating. "Please take my money! I grew up playing this game many many years ago... I played it so much, I wore the disk out and had to buy a new one... 3 times... I was rolling down memory lane and did a google search and found out FFT was on mobile and immediately bought it. This game has some of the richest lore you will ever find, challenging gameplay, and overall fun game! I also may or may not have bought this on multiple account just because I loved this game that much. Can't wait!!"

"I have been using this for over a month with no Internet. Now the game will not work and is telling me it's not licensed and I need to connect to the Internet. I paid for this and put it on my tablet that does not have access to the Internet most of the time. I was away from a wifi connection for 12 hours with a dead Icon for this game! It claims to be offline but that is a lie if you MUST connect every month or so. So this is an Online game NOT an offline!"
