"does not work on Samsung S22U. Even after giving the necessary permissions through usb connection to pc, via adb - crashes system process, freezes phone for around 10 seconds when you cannot do anything with the phone. Killed android auto too, no reaction from the car until uninstaled tasker and restarted (tried restart prior to uninstall). After uninstalling Tasker, all went back to normal."

"2024-11 update: moved to a new phone, had a couple of issues tied to the new android version, but fixed with a quick chat with the dev. Why there aren't six stars? Moved all my repetitive task inside tasker, so I don't have to worry about every phone implementation/config differences etc. Just backup/restore, some minor fix and voilà. Huge plus: developer is super helpful and responsive"

"For a paid app, it's lacking basic stuff, such as a button "short press" event. Example volume up long press is there, but not a simple short press. Even Automate has that functionality and is free. Please add it. Will update my rating if you add that event. Also give more love to the new UI, cause the old outdated UI look is terrible. I did enable the new UI, and it looks great when creating tasks. Just.. use that on every page, it looks so pretty."

"I have been using Tasker for many years, since the Android 4.4 days. I am glad it is still around today. It and various AutoApps allow me to do things I can't do on other platforms. I have tailored stuff on my Android devices toward my disabilities in ways I take for granted now. But I know it isn't easy to keep up with changes Google makes to various Android versions. Kudos to you! Give it a try and stick with it. Once it clicks, you'll be amazed at the stuff you can do."
