Oh boy, where do we even start with the mobile version of this app? If you love a challenge and enjoy apps that make you question your life choices, this might just be for you! 😂
Users have reported that the app is great... at staying on the loading screen. It's like paying for a ticket to an amusement park but never getting past the entrance gate! 🚪❌ It seems to be in perpetual limbo, downloading assets or throwing tantrums about entering an "illegal state." Talk about drama!
This app desperately wants to be a desktop application when it grows up. Running it on mobile feels like dressing your dog in human clothes—adorable but completely impractical. 🐶👗 Users mentioned it's essentially a miniaturized version of its desktop sibling, making everything too small to use effectively.
The file access situation is like being given keys to every room except the one you're actually interested in. 🔑🚫 Many found they could only open files previously exported from GIMP and not much else unless they're using Samsung Dex with a full-size monitor (and who carries one around?).
A few brave souls are determined to take this as a personal challenge, hoping updates will eventually save them from despair. Meanwhile, others have branded it garbage for mobile use—a strong contender for "Most Unusable App" awards! 🏆💩
In short, if you've got patience and optimism by the bucketload or need entertainment while waiting forever for something else... why not give it a shot? Otherwise, maybe stick with good ol' desktop applications until further notice! 😅
"Grabbed it as had it on my laptop, and was great for prepping images for laser engravings.. unfortunately laptop is struggling to work these days, so, mobile option seemed a good idea.. Pity I've paid for something that doesn't ger past the initial loading screen!! Constant popularity claiming it gas entered an illegal state, or dow loading assets,n doing nothing!! Tried on 3 individual devices, and all gave same result!!"
"This is not a mobile app! It's a desktop application. Unusable!"
"I can't access any files other than ones I have exported from gimp. It's nice to be able to run gimp on the go, but it would be better if it were optimized for mobile and could access local storage."
"Unusable"
"Very good"
"I've read about 50 of these reviews, and quite frankly I am disgusted at how much you guys are punanynaies, I take this lack of mobile compatible interface as a personal challenge, I will keep you all updated in 10 days babes xox"

"What in tarnation is this... this is absolutely horrible"
"Fully unoptimized and unusable."
"Works great if using Samsung Dex with a full size monitor. Current version is completely broken and is unable to open files."
"After using Photoshop for a while, they said my code was no good and wanted me to pay a monthly fee. I said goodbye to them. I remembered someone a few years back had told me about Gimp. I downloaded Gimp to one of my computers, and within a few minutes, I was using Gimp."
"It is the best app for my work"
"Garbage for mobile, never works, paid version ₹180/- from India."
"Hard to use on a mobile. The app opens as if it is on a computer screen. Everything is too small, and it is hard to edit anything. Waste of money."
