Day-to-Day Role and Responsibilities
As Global Health Manager at 3M, you will oversee the implementation of health strategies while guiding a team of subject matter experts focused on Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
The role requires leadership in health standards, driving improvements in areas such as industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and radiation protection, ensuring sustained performance gains.
You’ll conduct risk assessments, lead incident investigations, and collaborate across teams to ensure that best practices are implemented globally, keeping all facilities compliant and safe.
Additional responsibilities involve mentoring leaders, benchmarking industry techniques, auditing EHS processes, and contributing to a culture of open communication and effective project management.
Expect to manage CAPEX projects related to health, coordinate with engineering and operational teams, and represent 3M in external associations as the EHS standard-bearer.
