I've been a loyal JRemote user for years, and was jazzed about the new update... but alas, playlist playback is broken! 😩 The app just shrugs and stops working, making all my meticulously curated playlists useless. I mean, come on, this is a must-have feature! 🎶 I'll gladly bump up my stars if they fix this catastrophe.
Oh boy, here we go again. Another glitzy $$$ grab from JRiver! They've attempted a sequel with JRemote2, but spoiler alert: 🛑 the issues from the first one are still around. Freeze, crash, repeat – that's the new app's theme song. 🎵 And when you try to voice out your grievances on their forums, they just hit delete like it's a game of Whac-A-Mole. 🟦💥👈 Really, guys? This is comedy gold.
So yeah, it connects – that's nice. 👏 But wait for it... no control whatsoever. 🙄
"I've used jremote for years now and it's nice to finally have an updated app, however... Playlist playback isn't working at all and the app stops responding, and that's all playlists. This is an essential feature for me as I'm sure it is for many others. Happy to review my rating once this is fixed."
"Another $$$ grab from JRiver. The company hasn't fixed ALL the issues with JRemote2. All the same issues from JRemote2 are still present in this new version, plus new issues. This app barely works, constantly freezes & crashes. They direct you to go to their forums to leave a message or complaint, but if they don't like your post, they delete and pretend it never happened. WHAT A JOKE OF A COMPANY!!!"
