"Yet again, Nextbase promises much and delivers little. I've had 3 Nextbase units, and each ine has had faults. I purchased 2 Piqo as part of an offer. What a waste of money. The units are not detachable, and after having my previous units stolen from my car with extensive damage, you would think that a manufacturer would think about this. The app just hangs with a set of spinning orbs that do nothing. Oh, and the fact you have to use a nextbase Micro SD card is appaling behaviour"

"After initially installing the app and connecting to the camera I managing to update the firmware ok, but I've not been able to connect to the camera since so it leaves me guessing if the angle is right and I can't download or view any footage. Very poor coming from a company like nextbase."

"This app barely manages to fulfil its function. After about 8 attempts I have managed to set up the camera and update the firmware but it still has fundamental flaws. The key aspect is that the app seems to struggle managing WiFi networks so you cannot use any of the live view features or download footage with ease. The only saving grace with the dashcam is that I can just detach it and plug it into my PC to download the footage if needed."

"I like my dashcam because it's nice and small but the gps needs fixing as the dash cam detects me speeding when I'm not I don't live in a bush area or in city with tall buildings so that should not be the cause of speeding detections"

"I've had the camera for a few days now. The app is a good idea, but it should be giving us notifications when parking mode clips have been recorded, otherwise you might miss important overnight clips. They should also put a green logo on parking clips in the library so they're easier to locate. Also the downloaded MP4 files seem unsupported by WhatsApp which is a shame. A third party video editor/converter app was needed.. improvements are needed."
