"Finally won my first run (5 attempts). Inspired by Balatro but still it's own thing. Roguelike since you spend earned gems to improve future runs. "Deck" of 200 letters instead of 52 card deck - increased variance means you must squeeze out the max value out of EVERY word submitted. Great, puzzley gameplay, but lacking in the theme/visuals (clean UI though), build diversity, and potential craziness (deck manipulation) that made Balatro a 10/10. Still 100% worth buying if you like word games"

"Absolutely Fantastic and Very Fun. I was given a code by the dev to try out this game and have enjoyed it quite a bit. It has some gameplay similarities to Balatro but plays as it's own unique experience and is definitely not a clone. I'm enjoying the game enough that I will soon likely purchase it myself for my iOS devices too."

"It's like Scrabble x Balatro but the balance needs adjusting. After several strong runs I got to the Final level and I still couldn't beat it due to the boss modifiers I got (I was scoring over 100k). I think the meta-progression is one reason that it's so hard because you're limited to 3 buffs from the start and a small hand size, but the levels are much harder than Balatro. I think the early and late scaling need adjustments but mid-game is okay. Will update score if needed."

"Hopefully, you can update the game to ensure there are vowels to use. I've had too many instances where I've discarded consonants and never received any vowels, thus ending my game before it began. ****1/13/25. After giving this game some more attention, the game relies on luck and randomness. Sometimes, that's good, and sometimes that's just bad luck. The gameplay is quick to understand but can be difficult to win. If you're looking for a better challenge than Wordle, give this a try."

Gets very unresponsive especially when discarding and in shops 2) balance the 'boss' rounds.. ex. I'll be dominating a run then get to final round vs the kid and it'll be 1 word 1 discard, which would be fine but the score to beat should be lowered some to balance out the handicap. 3) sometimes seems i'm being cheated a discard. Like I'll pick 3 to discard but only get 2 new tiles"

"If you like word games, this is a great one. You play several consecutive rounds where you need to meet an ever-increasing score target. You can buy temp buffs along the way and buy permanent upgrades (which you need to win) at the end with gems you earn based on your performance. Addictive and fun and easy to recommend. The only downsides are submitting a word lags and progression is very slow so unlocking upgrades takes playing a lot of rounds. No ads and no IAPs though, which is great!"
