The part-time Medical Coding Trainer position offers a pay range of QAR 16,000 to QAR 24,000 per year. Hourly compensation ranges from QAR 35 to QAR 50, with an expected workload of about 6 hours per week. This role requires in-person attendance and focuses on delivering quality training for individuals aiming to grow in healthcare coding.

Day-to-Day Role & Responsibilities

This job will have you conducting training sessions on essential coding systems such as ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS. You’ll also prepare lesson plans, deliver presentations, and assess learning progress.

Another primary responsibility is to support learners in understanding medical terminology, documentation workflows, and compliance standards. You’ll also guide candidates in prepping for major certification exams like CPC.

Mock tests, real-life case studies, and practical coding drills form a part of the daily instruction, ensuring classes are hands-on and relevant to industry standards.

Regular evaluation of trainee performance and tailored feedback is expected, helping students strengthen their skills and fill learning gaps efficiently.

Staying current with code updates and regulatory changes is also essential—keeping your sessions accurate and up-to-date.

Advantages to Consider

The flexible hours are one of the biggest advantages—you won’t be tied down and can easily balance other commitments or responsibilities.

Competitive hourly pay means this role rewards your expertise, ensuring your time and skills are valued appropriately.

There’s a strong opportunity to share your knowledge, inspire aspiring coders, and make a difference in healthcare education.

Mga Potensyal na Disbentaha

Since the position averages about 6 hours each week, it may not be suitable for those seeking full-time income or benefits.

Furthermore, in-person training may require a consistent physical presence, which could limit flexibility for remote work enthusiasts.

Pangwakas na Hatol

If you’re an experienced medical coder who enjoys teaching and seeks part-time work with flexible hours, this opportunity is genuinely compelling. The clear structure, hands-on instruction, and direct impact on students make it rewarding, especially for experts dedicated to nurturing talent in healthcare coding.
