What You’ll Do in This Role
Graduate students are tasked with research supporting adolescents in their return to activities after concussion or injury, often working closely with both youth and adult stakeholders.
Day-to-day tasks include data collection and analysis, co-designing rehabilitation programs, and evaluating injury prevention initiatives, offering hands-on experience throughout.
Collaboration is key, as you’ll be involved in participatory research with caregivers, coaches, teachers, and clinicians to ensure practical project outcomes.
The projects focus on concussion support in schools, peer support for adolescent girl athletes, and investigation into injuries in para sports.
Expect mentorship and guidance from expert supervisors while developing academic and practical skills relevant to health sciences and rehabilitation.
